The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is an international membership organisation that promotes and advances civil engineering around the world. ICE is a qualifying body, a centre for the exchange of specialist knowledge, and a provider of resources to encourage innovation and excellence in the profession worldwide.

Producing written learning materials, inclusive of images and recordings (using MS Word/PowerPoint/Paint, Snippet, TechSmith Camtasia video editing system) to align with ICE business/departmental needs within the parameters of the system specification.

Salary and benefits:

Responsibilities

  • identify training needs and design courses (think user-friendly).
  • deliver training in a variety of ways, from online modules to classroom sessions.
  • create clear and engaging training materials (think manuals, videos, and online resources).
  • help our staff get up and running on our new CRM system (ICE Connect).
  • be the bridge between staff and the developers, making sure any issues are ironed out.

Job Requirements

  • Technical expertise required:
    • Hands-on user knowledge of authoring tools such as TechSmiths Camtasia is essential, with ability to create clear/concise training material
    • Expertise in using a CRM system (Dynamics 365 preferred).
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite is essential
  • Background in designing, delivering and evaluating training programs is crucial, along with strong instructional techniques for diverse learners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential to explain complex topics, actively listen to user needs and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
