Brass Bands England (BBE) is looking to recruit a new Admin Coordinator to support Membership and Safeguarding services, in addition to general admin responsibilities. The role is part-time and based at the HQ in Barnsley. Applications close on Monday 15 May at 9am, with interviews held in person on Tuesday 23 May.

Responsibilities

To support the administration of the Safeguarding Service

  • Respond to requests to post out blank DBS forms to bands
  • Check DBS forms as they come in via the post
  • Post completed forms to the DBS via the post office
  • Send out emails to those who have passed the bandsafe course
  • Print and make up badges for those who have passed the bandsafe course
  • Answer routine booking queries by email and phone in relation to bandsafe
  • Submit events to the BBE website
  • Amend training records on BBE’s CiviCRM database
  • Provide general admin support to the Safeguarding Officer

To support the administration of BBE’s office

  • Answer the phones
  • Monitor the info@ email and respond to queries
  • Accept and sort deliveries and post
  • Order office supplies
  • Respond to facebook messages
  • Update spreadsheets and pull off reports, as required
  • Carry out day-to-day Membership admin using the CiviCRM database
  • Help and support the Membership Services Manager and the wider team as required
  • Occasionally attend and help out at BBE’s events

General Duties

  • General office duties
  • Any other duties pertinent to the role
